New Nissan Leaf will only have one pedal and here's what it can do
Nissan introduces e-Pedal, a revolutionary technology that will transform the way we drive.
Now, with just a flip of a switch, the technology will convert your accelerator into an e-Pedal. This allows drivers to accelerate, decelerate and stop using just the e-Pedal.
e-Pedal also becomes the first one-pedal operation in the world which allows its drivers to bring the car to a complete stop, stay in position, and resume driving on hills.
The ability to cover 90% of driving needs will make driving in heavy traffic and city commutes a lot simpler and more engaging. The e-Pedal will greatly reduce the need for drivers to shift from one pedal to the other.
The e-Pedal is just one more milestone achieved by Nissan in their mission to bring accessible, advanced driver assistance technologies to the mainstream.
Nissan Intelligent Mobility, Nissan's blueprint for transforming how cars are driven, is the key force behind the development of these innovative technologies.
The Nissan LEAF, world's first mass-market electric vehicle is also currently the world's best-selling electric vehicle.
